All about heirloom tomatoes
Author and tomato aficionado Penny Woodward guides you beyond the standard red supermarket tomato to a world where there are hundreds of varieties, flavours and colours.

Briefly looking at the history of heirloom tomatoes in Australia and why it’s important to grow them and save their seeds, Penny will then look at some of the different ways you can grow tomatoes, how to support them, how to breed your own tomatoes and how to deal with some of the pests and disease that attack them.

“The ultimate book on tomatoes, brimming with information based on experience. It covers everything anyone ever needs to know about selecting, growing and using the best and tastiest tomatoes in all districts and climates.” Peter Cundall 2018
Penny will also have her books available to purchase and signing
There will also be an opportunity to swap produce, plants, and ideas over a cuppa.
